One of the goals of the center is to conduct long-term experimental archaeological projects.  Both of the center’s directors are currently involved in long term experimental archaeological research projects including the development of an extensive use-wear type collection and database of flaked and ground stone tools and debitage, a large-scale living/experimental archaeology project investigating the Middle Woodland procurement, processing and use of anadromous fish in the Delaware Valley.
